Spring programming contests
On April 4, Hendrix sent three teams to Russellville, Arkansas,
for the programming contest

CCSC region. One of the teams — the Hendrix Roundabouts,
including Colby Christopher, Daniel Levy, and Eric Robbins
— placed third out of 19. The other two teams placed 9th
and 14th. Also, two seniors — David Gould and Daniel Levy
— presented papers at the conference.
Also during this spring was the annual

Dr. Bill Wood joins our mathematics faculty
This fall, Dr. Bill Wood joins Hendrix's mathematics faculty.
After getting his mathematics B.A. from New College in Florida,
Wood worked for several years in computing jobs, and then he started
work on his mathematics PhD at Florida State, where he began his
