Hendrix College sent two teams to Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas, to compete in the Mid-Central Regional ACM Programming Contest on November 3, 2007, to compete among 119 other teams in Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Each team of three students shared one computer as they worked to solve as many of the given programming problems as possible within a five-hour time frame.
Hendrix Roundaboutsteam — Colby Christopher, Daniel Levy, and Eric Robbins — completed 4 of the 8 problems, scoring 2nd among the 14 Arkansas teams and 11th among the 119 teams in the five-state region.
Hendrix Squirrelsteam — Don Bennett, Josh Franklin, and Henry Phillips — completed one problem. They placed 10th in Arkansas and 83rd in the region.
