Carl Burch, now a computer science professor at Hendrix College, has also taught at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. For six summers, he taught high school students at the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Sciences. This summer, he will serve as an AP Computer Science grader. He received a PhD in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2000.

Dwayne Collins has taught computer science and mathematics at Hendrix College since 1982 and has been active with outreach to Arkansas high school programs for many years. He received a PhD in mathematics from the University of Houston in 1981 and is currently pursuing an MS in computer science.

Gabe Ferrer received his PhD in computer science from the University of Virginia in 2002, at which time he came to teach at Hendrix College. He has a particular interest in software engineering principles.
