Team Assignment 1: Requirements and Specification

Your team will receive 3-4 requirements documents and black box specifications. The team must do the following:

• Read each requirements document.
• Check each black box against its requirements document.
• Select a preferred requirements/black box combination.
• Modify the selected items as follows:
  • If there are any completeness/row-definition/row-independence problems with the black box, they must be fixed.
  • If any of the other requirements documents/black boxes have ideas that the team would like to use, they should be incorporated into the selected document.
• Identify the biggest risks involved with the project. Each risk represents an element of the requirements that, in the mind of at least one team member, causes doubt about the success of the project. Your team will create a risk document that includes the following:
  • For each risk voiced by any team member:
    • A name for the risk.
    • A description of the risk.
    • The reason for the inclusion of the risk.
  • An introduction describing the team consensus about the three biggest risks. The document should describe why these three risks are the consensus for the biggest risks.
